Since it's founding in 1969, Project Management Institute has grown to be the organisation of choice for project management professionalism. With 210,000 members worldwide at early 2006, PMI is the leading non-profit professional association in the area of project management. PMI establishes project management standards, provides seminars, educational programs and professional certification that more and more organisations desire for their project leaders.
PMI’s UK branch, known as the UK Chapter, was founded in 1995 and has approximately 3000 members. Many of our members are also members of local UK project management associations and groups. The UK Chapter exists to support the goals and objectives of PMI within the United Kingdom. We also work closely with PMI and other chapters throughout the world, particularly those in mainland Europe.
