- Pine Meadow Farms is a family owned and operated business. We purchased our first Llama in 1994 and have grown to 39 Llamas today. We harvest the wool from animals on our farm and have it processed professionally. The final product is showcased in our store located here on the farm. We are proud to provide a quality finished product, which is ready for you to make your next handmade garment or heirloom. We are located in Manchester Michigan which is 60 minutes west of Detroit in a gentle rolling countryside, which in considered the beginning of the well known Irish Hills. The shearing of the wool is completed using electric shears using a comb and cutter, this is very quick and much more relaxing for the animals.
