- Paul Penland left a large Boise law firm in 1979 to start his own practice as a sole practitioner. The practice evolved into a partnership then into a professional corporation. Penland and Thomas (Tom) Munson are personal injury attorneys, workers' compensation attorneys, and general litigation attorneys who have worked together since 2001. They recently joined together to form Penland & Munson, Attorneys l Counselors l Chartered. The firm's office is located at 1161 W. River Street in Boise, Idaho. We are close to the core business area, the Capitol mall and state courts. Our lawyers represent clients throughout the state. We maintain an active civil litigation and administrative practice. We also represent selected clients in commercial matters including litigation and employment law issues. Members of the firm provide services as arbitrators and hearing officers, as well as serving as advocates in various alternative dispute resolution formats including arbitration and mediation.
