- Paul is a 3rd generation in the car industry. His grandfather,Gene Tiehm, ran the Chevrolet Store in Reno, NV from 1939 until he retired in 1979. Prior to that, he started in the car business in Stockton, CA at the Chevrolet dealership as a parts manager prior to Chase owning it. Mike Tiehm, Paul's dad, has been in the car business since 1959 working for his father. Then in 1967 he moved to Carson City, NV to the Chevrolet store as a parts manager. Paul started in the car business as a detailer in 1986 at Carson City Nissan. In 1989 he moved to Valley Chevrolet Pontiac as a salesperson. Then in 1994 moved to Lodi and started as a salesperson here at Plummer's. Work his way up the ladder became Sales Manager in 1996.He has been the General Manager for the past 8 years. He vast knowledge of the car business has been a vital add to Plummer in Lodi.
