About the Band
Welcome to the official Pleasure Unit website. Pleasure Unit is a band from the Seattle area that came together in 1994. Pleasure Unit has recorded hundreds of songs over the past decade, completing work on a compilation disc entitled Accumulator and several other full-length albums, including their latest release, Automaton (April 2002). Latest Updates
The Pleasure Unit website has been completely redesigned from the floor up to showcase the tried and true content that has been available for years, as well as open up opportunities for new and better content to appear in the coming months. If you have feedback on the new design, feel free to let us know.
Two tracks from each of the last three Pleasure Unit releases have been added to the Albums page for download. The newly added tracks include "A Feel Good Translation," from the Automaton EP; "Vendetta," from Breadwinner Father, Homemaker Mother; and "The Vice," from the instrumental LP Prometheus, among others.
