Playgroundex.com History of my website making
Hey. This is my page dedicated to the history of sites owned by me. At first I remember I used layers to arrange little pictures I had made in flash for my first website layout. This was for playgroundEx(R.I.P) of course. Some of you MAY remember, but I doubt it. Then I went onto a horrible coloured one, again made in layers. But somewhat better. Next I bought the portal off of SamK or OrbX, who made swfUp. I had to modify it a lot over the times but it was pretty handy, and a big helper in my php skills. As for the first layout with the portal, it was made in tables, Which I still use to this day. After that was a pretty decent layout, resembling the second one in colour, But with some cool effects and a never used "reviews" section. Made completely in html D:
Next up was the last layout of playgroundex. An orange and black one, which was ok. I also used CSS for it. By this time I had bought comicbomb. It was a very basic but nice layout. Which I liked. I made about 8 comics. Which can be found here. Some are new-ish though. Anyway, back to pgex(as it was shortened to). The forums were pretty active(compared to past ones) until the spammers came..AND PISSED ME OFF. The mods and me took care of them at first. Trying to reason with them. But no. There was no reasoning with them. They spammed the living crap out of my forums and everyone got disheartened and bored with them, so that was the end of pgex, although I have no regrets for it helped me greatly with learning PHP. Next up was doodleleaf. Coming along pretty well, a nice layout made by Ryne. Coding by Pizza. Looking nice enough, until a friend of mine deleted it and pgex "by accident". I didnt bother remaking pgex, and the payment was about to come so I just didnt pay and now the link is dead. Pizza is now incharge of reconstructing doodleleaf, and we hope it will be fulfilled to its former glory.
As for the new comicbomb. It used to be purple, as most of you know. But I changed it to white to make it easier on the eyes. The comics are poor quality I know, but I will get better
