Platt Bridge Morris Dancers were formed in 1970 by our current troupe principle, Maureen Haigh. We are based in Wigan and although most of the girls do come from Wigan and the surrounding areas, we do have dancers who travel from as far as St Helens, Preston, Bamber Bridge, Nantwich & Manchester. The ages of the girls range from "as soon as they can walk" to forty somethings.
