operates a 150 bed long term care nursing home in Plaquemine, Louisiana which is 13 miles south of Baton Rouge, Louisiana on the west bank of the Mississippi River. As an integral component of our long term care services, we operate a 32 bed VENTILATOR UNIT. We know that hospitals are encouraged to discharge ventilator dependent and trach patients as soon as medically practical and there are very few long term care facilities who are willing to accept such patients, primarily because they are not equipped to provide the necessary medical services needed by these patients. WE ARE FULLY EQUIPPED AND STAFFED TO CARE FOR BOTH VENTILATOR DEPENDENT AND TRACH PATIENTS. We are conveniently located near a Dialysis Center, ambulance service, and an acute care hospital.
