Pivot Trust was incorporated on 18th December 1989 as Pivot Finance Limited and commenced business on 1st of August 1990, and was admitted as a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on 2nd October 1991. The company is also registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Capital Market Operator. With the support of a Board of Directors whose members have distinguished themselves in Finance, Banking, Accountancy, Economics, and Management, and a Management team with varied and cognate experience, Pivot Trust has continued to grow to be a major player in today’s Nigeria capital market. The hallmark of our existence is the need for personalized services which call for an indebt knowledge of our clients requirement and how best to meet these needs.
The name was changed to Pivot Trust & Investment Company Limited and was duly registered with the CAC on the 9th day of February 2001. Pivot Trust commenced business with an authorized capital of 3,000,000 and was increased to 80,000,000 with 50,000,000 shares of N1 each fully paid up.
