Our story begins with our founder Greg Pietersma embarking on a mission to learn to be a tinsmith. This took him to Upper Canada Village where he started as assistant tinsmith. While working there his desire to learn from the best took him to Eastfield Village to study with Master Tinsmith William McMillen. Over the next couple of years Greg continued to practice at the Village and receive instruction from McMillen. It was during this period that Greg discovered Tin Tinsel.
