Piedmont Medical Writers LLC has been in operation since 2001 and under that name since 2006. Peter G. Aitken, PhD, received his degree in neuroscience from the University of Connecticut. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Cornell University, he joined the faculty at Duke University Medical Center where he was involved in preclinical and clinical research and teaching in the Departments of Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and Surgery.
