Mission of the Green Party
The Green Party is the party for promoting real progressive politics and change in this country. If you are an activist, why waste your time continuing to support that other party which constantly collaborates with Bush and the Republicans against those things you care so deeply about? From opposing the war in Iraq, to standing up for the Bill of Rights, to saving our unique desert environment, and for preserving the Social Security program, the Green Party stands with you on what you care about!
In addition to offering solutions to social and environmental problems, the GPPC actively works to reform the electoral system, increase grassroots participation in government decision making, develop cooperative leadership models, and ensure that Green politicians remain accountable to those who place them in office. Greens currently lead the drive for Instant Runoff Voting (IRV) and Proportional Representation. We've worked for the Arizona Clean Election system, expansion of the Arizona AHCCCS health care system, and promotion of the Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan.
