About Lisa
Photography by Lisa Stead is a professional portrait studio based in London, Ontario Canada that specializes in capturing tasteful and unique pictures of expecting women during pregnancy with a focus on the continuing development of the family following birth. Maternity is our passion.
Lisa Stead studied for 3 years at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, Canada, graduating with two separate diplomas in photography. Her accomplishments include winning "Best Digital Image" for the 1997 Professional Photographers of Canada, annual student print competition.
After graduating, Lisa worked in the retail environment, fine tuning her skills and growing a passion for portraiture. With two small children of her own, she learned to communicate with her youngest of clients in a way that captures their individuality and innocence.
Encouraged by many to start her own freelance business, she now has a growing home based studio that is thriving. Her business offers a quiet professional studio setting with no waiting rooms or tight time constraints. Lisa is known for her creativity and strives to make every image a precious inspiration. She builds rapport with all her clients making the experience pleasurable and one filled with memories.
