Born and raised near Boston, I’ve been toying with cameras since I was 15 years old. After graduating from New England School of Photography, I joined the U.S. Army with the intention of documenting the impending Iraq war. As a combat photographer, I saw more than two years of action in Baghdad and beyond. While in the U.S. between tours, I served as both editor and primary photographer of my installation’s weekly newspaper.
