PHMA is the Protective Headgear Manufacturers' Association, a voluntary, not-for-profit organization of manufacturers of headgear for non-motorized sports. PHMA was established in 1994 with a mission to help reduce the risk of head injury through education, promotion of headgear use, and support of programs that may lead to further reduction of head injury.
