PHLATLINE SOUND – “The Wickedest Juggling Machine” wurde im Jahre 1999 in Chemnitz (Sachsen) von LIKKLE T und TOLEE gegründet. 2006 kam PHIL mit zu uns ins Boot und seit 2013 ist auch SEPP alias "FIREMAN" Teil der Crew. Wir als Sound spielten schon auf einer Vielzahl nationaler und europäischer Bühnen. So zum Beispiel waren wir in Moskau, Madrid, Budapest, Bern und auch in Pescara zu Gast. Unser Repertoire spiegelt den gesamten Fächer jamaikanischer Musik wider; von Foundation Klassikern und Lovers Rock über Modern Roots und One Drop Hits, bis hin zum Dancehall und Soca in all seinen Facetten. Neben all dem ist unsere Dubplate-Box auch mit den Jahren stetig gewachsen. Neben unserem Soundsystem haben wir uns auch als Produktionsteam eindrucksvoll zu Wort gemeldet. Phlatline Sound Productions brachte mit Ronny Trettmanns "Großvater" (2008) den besten 'Nationalen Tune des Jahres' laut RIDDIM LESER POLL hervor. Mit RYNO, WARD 21, KONSHENS und CHICO gibt es weitere nennenswerte Künstler, mit denen wir im Laufe unserer Riddim-Produktionen ("NEWSTAH" & "GET SMART") zusammengearbeitet haben. The soundsystem has been touring in name of music nationwide as well as several times abroad, for instance, in Moscow (RU), Madrid (E), Pescara (I), Budapest (HU), and Berne (CH). Phlatline Sound’s repertoire ranges from lovers rock and foundation to the latest reggae, dancehall, and soca hits. Additionally, we love playing our favorite artists on dubplates. Apart from that, the we worked busily on our own record label "Phlatline Sound Productions". We collaborated with numerous reggae and dancehall artists, such as RYNO, WARD 21, KONSHENS and CHICO. The own production "Großvater" (=grandfather) by German Reggae/Dancehall hero Ronny Trettmann was voted "best national song in 2008" by the readers of Germany's biggest Reggae and Dancehall magazine RIDDIM.
