Welcome to Peterborough Collective - an electronic news and public affairs magazine, administered by a volunteer collective, dedicated to social justice and social change from a left-of-centre perspective. Our goal is to provide a voice for those whose viewpoints are anathema to the mainstream corporate media. We will tell the stories of the silenced communities, the young and the elderly, the disadvantaged or disabled, labour, newcomers to Canada, the social justice movement, women, gays and lesbians.
We solicit and encourage your participation. Please write us with your ideas, your articles, and your criticisms. You are also welcome to subscribe by clicking on the subscribe link below. When you do, we will send you an e-mail each time we publish a new edition. Your e-mail address will be kept confidential.
We encourage the widest possible distribution of Peterborough Collective. Feel free to reproduce hard copies of any article. Please print the article in its entirety, as is, with credit to Peterborough Collective and to the article's author. Each author claims copyright for his/her article and Peterborough Collective claims copyright for the name and design of the magazine.
