Solent Motoring Group was established in 1993 after a management buy-out of the Citroen franchise in Portsmouth. By dealing with customers in a more open manner, often showing what we paid and agreeing on a mark up, customers left happier knowing they had paid a fair price for the goods. This led to a lot of "word of mouth" recommendations and it was not long before the Nissan main agent for Portsmouth was taken into the fold. In March 2003 we opened Solent Mazda, adding yet another prestigious marque to our list of dealerships. In January 2005 we opened our Used Car operation at Petworth. We will continue to grow and to look for more opportunities to do things better.
