Founded in June of 1998 as Exotic Gardens, we were a small retailer of exotic and unusual plants. The demand for our tissue cultured carnivorous plants quickly increased, making it the primary focus of our business. In order to serve the market in the most efficient way we launched petflytrap.com which quickly overtook the traditional brick & mortar establishment in Houston TX .
Over the web we currently offer a variety of unique carnivorous plants and the occasional novelty or exotic plant focused at the beginning grower or enthusiast. Occasionally, more exotic and difficult species are offered to accommodate the experienced grower or collector.
We have become recognized for our quality stock, friendly & helpful service, and informative web site. In 2003 we launched a pilot retail establishment for a new line of terrarium and live goods; this pilot helped us hone the ideas which drive jungleWerks... consistent quality and commitment to customer service remains unchanged we're simply adding the products and services to support the growing terrarium and vivarium market.
