Description
We have named our village Pejvak which means "Echo" or "Reflection" in Persian, hoping that its activities, and goals be a true reflection of its members' desire.
Pejvak is a virtual village which hopes to bring the Iranian community a little closer together by providing a platform to learn more about who we are. In doing so, we hope that we can get to know and appreciate different aspect of our culture, history, religion, politics, and whatever else that make us Iranian, American-Iranian, Iranian-American, or ... It is also to recognize that as Thomas Sowell have stated we are all the same except for our differences, and we are all different except for our similarities.
Majority of our activities revolve around Literary, and Movie discussions along with presentations related to Iran, although occasional excursions are also planned. Our main vehicle to stay in touch and plan activities is the Internet. Please visit our Past Events section to get a flavor of what we have been doing.
