Peer-to-Peer Insurance is a breakthrough insurance model based on pooling homeowners and drivers together to insure each other at a cost lower than what the current traditional insurance system offers.
Some of its features include the continued ownership, within reason, of money paid for premium; not using credit ratings to set premiums and not penalizing anyone who drives safely, for example, younger drivers, on account of age. Also, members of the pool will be allowed some say in how the process is run. For strategic reasons, the project organizer is not making all the features public at this time.
Peer-to-Peer Insurance is a Thinkingmode.com project and currently at a pre-launch stage. People are encouraged to sign the Show-Interest register at peertopeerinsurance.com so as to be kept posted when it launches. This way, they can get all the details and decide whether to join or not.
Homeowners, safe drivers and any person genuinely committed to driving safely will be welcome to join the club when it launches in the near future.
