- PCPrime was formed in March 2007. It is currently owned and managed by Ben Uecker. Ben has been working with computers since the old Apple IIe days. He purchased his first IBM PC compatible computer in 1992. From there he went on to learning how to fix and build computers himself. He graduated in 1999 from a small liberal arts college in Madison, WI with a B.S. degree in Marketing and Mangement. Ben's love and fascination with technology lead him to discover everything by trial and error, from setting up a computer network in his home (before wirless networking even existed) to creating the internet banking department for a regional Midwest bank.
