Paw Pottery began in 1993. Kerri Verna was a local Laguna Beach, California artist. Kerri's pottery was primarily a hobby consisting of craft and local art shows. After meeting her husband, Nick, who also shared the same love of pottery, they decided to move to Maryland to pursue their dream of owning their own business.
After selling some of their pet pottery at local events and consignment stores, a pet store entrepreneur asked if they could create a line of unique pet dishes. The first dish created was the “Bella Bowl”, a.k.a "Personalized Dog Bowl";
A one-of-a-kind, black and white dish with their dogs name on it. Since then, Paw Pottery has grown into a small business and internet company.
