- PGA professional Paul Bertholy created the Bertholy Method. His system for re-building, refining or learning a golf swing utilizes 5 programs of drills. Today most golf professionals utilize some type of drills. Paul Bertholy's work was featured in Golf World, Golf Magazine, Golf Lessons and other periodicals. He was named the UPI Ocean Press Division Golf Pro of the year in 1960. He traveled extensively for the PGA in the 1970s putting on instruction seminars for PGA professionals.
