First of all, hello and thanks for visiting our website. We hope you enjoy PartySync and it is something that you use. That is how we started PartySync. We used our cell phones to text message and wanted more from our cell phones. We didn't want one of those expensive, bulky phones, but we wanted more services when we were away from a computer. So we decided to make text messaging our way to get information & stay connected with friends. And so that is how this story starts and what you see here at PartySync is the result of our work.
Yes, we are a couple of engineers here in Silicon Valley. And no, we don't have a big Venture Capitalist that has given us lots of money. We are a small team that has been working on this when we aren't at our normal jobs which we hope to quit soon. You could call it a labor of love, but we call it a labor of want. We want to be away from our computers and enjoy those sunny days. We want to be outside and know our favorite team's scores. We want a simple way to connect with our friends and not have those chain phone calls telling everyone what the plans are now. All these wants drove us to this point and are driving us to add more.
We love the site, but we need to give thanks to many people. We did the work, but they provided much more. We would like to thank our significant others, our families and our friends. Working hard has made us have less time with you, but we hope you can see what we have done and appreciate the sacrifices. It couldn't be possible without you. There are a lot of other people we would like to mention but the list is too long. Thank you for your advice on what we should do, your encouragement to keep going when we wanted to give up, and your general support by listening when we needed to vent. Thank you so much.
