- In 1988 the Junior League of Huntsville identified a need for the coordination of alcohol and drug prevention efforts in this community. To address this need, the Junior League made a $100,000 contribution to last for a three-year period. This contribution enabled Partnership for a Drug-Free Community to establish its programs and services.
