To prevent the abuse of infants, children, and Youth in the United States through non-violence education. One in four families in the U. S. have a child abuse problem.
Mothers & Others Against Child Abuse was founded in 1987. MOACA, Inc. is an IRS 501C3 tax-exempt charity. The Parent Help USA Center was opened with a 1989 grant from the Disneyland Community Service to Youth Award.
Sally Nava Kanarek founded the nonprofit in memory of her sister and victims of abuse & violence with the support of licensed counselor, Ruth S. Purdy, Ph. D., MFCC.
