About Panorama Mall
The Macerich Company acquired Panorama Mall in 1979 as a strip center. The mall under went renovations in 1980 and became an enclosed mall. An additional 35 spaces were created, as well as 10 kiosks. A $1.2 million upgrade in 2005 added new parquet floors, entrance doors, marble-top tables, and landscaping to the center. In 2005, Panorama welcomed over 7.3 million visitors.
Panorama Mall has by far the most diverse anchor line-ups in the market area (San Fernando Valley), featuring the only bi-level Wal-Mart in Southern California and La Curacao, a department store offering electronics, appliances, selected soft goods and import/export to and from Latin America. The center is conveniently located between five major freeways. A 300 ,000 square feet regional shopping center, featuring a recently remodeled Forever 21. Panorama Mall also includes one outlying restaurant, Wendy’s Hamburgers.
