- Pandeiro.com was conceived by Scott Feiner, an American living in Rio de Janeiro since 2001. The idea was to create an online environment where people interested in the pandeiro from around the world could find out more information about this wonderful, underappreciated instrument. The pandeiro has quite a bit of a mystery surrounding it and is very difficult to learn how to play. It's also not easy to know who to listen to or where to buy a good instrument. It's especially hard when you're not in Brasil!
