About national guilds, do they have a future?

My main character is in a specifically Romanian guild and well, it's been looked upon skeptically by many, including people on national forums. The idea itself is limited, they say, because since the recruitment algorythm isn't skill but nationality. Thus we will never get to do bigger instances or guild raids and such events, they add. When I reply that BECAUSE our guild isn't set for such 'great deeds', thus we tried to revolve around the same gambit they mumble unsubstantional arguments. My point is that national guilds, whatever nationality they have, may have other things in mind than typing '/spit' over Lucifron's corpse (or whoever).

And yes, i know such a guild who managed MC, it's called Redstar, and it's a Horde Russian guild on Zenedar.

Well, biggest problem is that if I meet someone i really like playing with, I can't invite him/her to the guild because of language - try having char name that people think is from some other language or say 'hej' instead of hi (had a lot of funny /w's at lower levels, and still get them
