They tell me that “Panpan” is a ‘non-critical’ distress call - as opposed to a “Mayday” – so is an ideal name for me. I am a rescue dog, very nervous, and came to live here when I was about 9 months old in June 1991. It took my new owners a long time to get used to my ways.
I managed things very well but it was several months before they had learned the right tones of voice for the necessary commands such as sit, lie down, stay, wait and all the other things that well behaved dogs really ought to know.
In fact I am probably a well loved, probably fairly normal, dog - but I do seem to be very special to them.
