Welcome to the 2009-2010 School Year. The start of a new school year brings anticipation and hope to so many hundreds of children and their families. After all, despite what we have been hearing in political commercials throughout the summer, we, America’s parents and educators, are the true facilitators of hope and change. While standardized test scores continue to improve and students are excelling, these are not the only measures of a successful school district.
