Our nephew, Matthew, and his girlfriend, Melissa, were looking for some good dining and heard about the classy establishment known as the Catfish Parlour, so they made the little jaunt from Waco to Austin for some fried catfish. After they ate they called us and we said, "come on over", and we went bowling. Cindy, who usually averages about 70 - 80, proceeded to destroy everyone averaging 143 for 3 games and never scoring below a 140. It was a good time and a good visit with Matthew and Melissa.
We had the house painted a couple weeks ago! and then.. We got a couple quotes for leafless / seamless gutters and they wanted around $3K, so I decided to go with old style, seamed / leaf collectors and bought everything at Home Depot for a little less than $400. I had to build some kickout blocks from wood since the fascia board is not 90 degrees to the ground, but other than that installation was a breeze. Got it done in about a weekend.
