Established in 1991, Pomfrey Metal Fabrications is based in Newhaven, East Sussex. As well as our more general work as sheet-metal fabricators, in recent years we have been involved in a number of prestigious furnishings contracts in the hotel industry. Metal furniture components made in our workshops are currently installed in the Claridges and Waldorf hotels in London - as well as the Sandy Lane Hotel, a luxury golf and spa resort in Barbados.
It was success in this field that fuelled John Pomfrey’s desire to make and sell his own hand-crafted metal furniture, which the company now does under the brand name of PMF Designs.
We know how much people appreciate the value of craftsmanship, and the fact that we are a small, family-run company. You will never be dealing with salespeople. Not only can you speak to John and Elaine personally about exactly what you want, you can also rest assured that your furniture will be custom-built by craftsmen from start to finish.
