The perfect place to relax after a day weeding through the racks of North Conway's bevy of outlet stores, The Oxford Houses offers a delicious meal, a lovely place to sleep, and friendly company. Just a few minutes east across the Maine border, the 1913 Inn is run by Phyllis and John Morris, who have found happiness managing their own place after an extended stay running the Scottish Lion in North Conway.
Refreshing, and oftentimes surprising, is the fabulous food here at the Inn. Breakfast is included with each room night, and is another John Morris masterpiece: scones, blueberry buttermilk pancakes, and French toast stuffed with cream cheese and homemade marmalade and superb eggs Benedict are just a few of his specialties.
