- Objective number one was to organize one of the fastest growing classes in drag racing, Outlaw Pro Mods. Dozens of Outlaw Pro Mods compete nearly every weekend at tracks all over the United States for little or no prize money on unprepared tracks with less than desired safety equipment. One thing that there is no shortage of, however, is spectators. Record crowds pack small tracks week in and week out to see these “Outlaws” put it all on the line. Ironically the Outlaw Pro Mods, primarily because there are no performance restricting rules placed on them by sanctioning bodies, consistently run elapsed times and speeds that are quicker and faster than conventional Pro Mods.
