Future Stars Abound! The 2009-2010 Season started in earnest this past month with the introduction of the Carleton Place Canadians as the CJHL’s 12th and final expansion franchise. As part of the expansion process, the CJHL held a special Expansion Draft which gave the Canadians an opportunity to choose two players from each of the 11 existing team 35 man Protect Lists. Each team was in turn allowed to protect 14 players prior to the Canadians selection process.
