OtherWisz Creative Corporation, a New York State S-Corporation, is the graphic design team of Mark and Jill Wisz. Founded as a sole proprietorship in 2001, OtherWisz provides graphic design and web development services for a varied market. Initially serving small and home-based businesses with identity design packages and business and database-driven websites, OtherWisz has been growing to include larger corporations and marketing consultation services.
Mark, a graduate of Buffalo State College, understood early in his professional career that the emerging field of internet communications would become a valuable tool for a company's marketing strategy. He worked as an art director at a number of graphic design and web design firms, cultivating a substantial freelance business, with the idea of eventually forming his own company. Jill, who earned a masters degree in architecture from the State University of Buffalo, gained her experience working for a prestigious Buffalo architectural firm, as well as designing for trade show and museum exhibits. In the spring of 2004, with her knowledge and business experience, Jill became an integral part of the company and OtherWisz incorporated as 'OtherWisz Creative Corporation'. The OtherWisz team is rounded out with over 10 part time and freelance graphic designers, developers and consultants.
With a unique office space in a renovated barn at 252 Lexington Avenue in the Elmwood Village District of Buffalo, NY, OtherWisz’ keen eye for visually striking design elements - and its understanding of the importance of the message within the design – provide the company’s clients with an appealing and effective fusion of words and images. The proof can be found in the work they have created for such diverse clients as Fowler’s Chocolates, Literacy Volunteers, LP Ciminelli, Kenmore Development, the Erie Community College Foundation and Buffalo Spree Publications.
