Description
Osculati s.p.a. was established in 1958 as the result of the sporting successes obtained by its founder, Emilio Osculati, in several Outboard Boat Championships which lead him to gain 9 Italian and 1 European Champion Title (all of them in class A, 250 and 500cc.). By 1962 we started producing several boating supplies, including aluminium steering wheels, lifejackets and deck fittings. Presently we operate from two sites in Milan and Lucca with an overall floor space of over 12.000 sq. meters.
In Italy we are well known as the leading distributor of boating supplies, with a complete catalogue of almost 14.000 items and 608 pages (you can see this catalogue in our Italian website). Our strength comes from our complete range of products, both of our own production and from major brands. In fact we are exclusive distributors for the Italian market of some of the most famous brands in the marine industry (see our Italian website). We keep in our warehouses a relevant stock of every single item present in our catalogue to fulfil every possible demand from our customers.
We export since 1972, but for a better focusing on the European and other markets in 1992 we developed a special catalogue containing items of our own production. This catalogue, printed in English, French and German, contains around 4.000 items: most of them are directly made by us in-house, or by specialized companies under our own design, supervision, financing, tooling and know how.
