I think this is an old photo of the village square in Hannibal. The photo depicts the near corner (#1) which is now Cook’s Jewelers, and following along (#2) the old dry good/drug store, grocery store and post office. The building across the street facing at the end was once the old fire station, then library and finally the present liquor store.
The near corner (1) of the first building seemed to be leaning to the left, which suggests the camera angle was off or the card was printed or cropped wrong to begin with. When it is rotated clockwise it looks much better.
Shadows (3) across the road are wavy which would indicate that it is probably dirt and inundated with bumps and ruts. The shadows are quite long and therefore this is probably early morning or late afternoon. From the direction and length of the shadows it would probably be safe to assume that the street runs north and south and the buildings are either facing east or west.
