About Orthopaedics SA
Orthopaedics SA provides facilities for 13 orthopaedic surgeons to provide a broad range of orthopaedic services for metropolitan and country South Australians. Our patients are our priority and we aim to provide comprehensive and individualised care, to ensure patients needs and expectations are always met.
Fracture Management
Caring for children’s needs requires the experience and knowledge of paediatric specialists. With four paediatric specialists, Orthopaedics SA takes pride in its ability to provide expert medical care for children of all ages with orthopaedic problems.
All specialists at Orthopaedics SA have completed six years of medical training prior to undertaking a further 8 years of study to qualify as an orthopaedic surgeon, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery). Your doctor may have chosen to specialise further, concentrating on a particular field such as sports medicine or paediatrics, or on an area of the body such as the feet, hips, knees or shoulders.
