Description
The Association’s fly tying class finished on 28th March, with class members asked to tie up a Dunkeld, Hedgehog and fly of their choice. Prize for the most improved went to young Andrew Spence, whose Dunkeld impressed Association President Andrew Morgan. Paul Gray was top of the class overall, producing consistently well tied and neat patterns. However all were tying very well indeed by the end of the ten weekly sessions. Proceeds from the class, as always, will go into the Competitions and Entertainment’s fund.
Members are reminded to keep their social diary clear for Friday 21st April. By popular request, a Social Evening is being held at the Merkister Hotel. A fly tying demonstration, video and quiz is already planned. Full details will be advertised on this website and in local tackle shops. It should be a good night and all members and intending members are most welcome.
