Orissaa.com is a non-political, non-profit, and voluntary movement for peoples of Orissa. Our aim being spread Orissa among oriyas across the globe. The aim is to promote the culture, heritage, language and exchange of information between Oriyas.
This Site was conceived during End March'2005. Designed & hosted in www.geocities.com/b_tripathy on 13th April 2005 with just 11 pages and at http://www.orissaa0.tripod.com on 16th April 2005 with 15 pages. It was hosted as www.orissaa.com on 29th May 2005, and reached 50 hits next day itself. Reached 500 hits on 16.6.2005, 1000 hits on 23.6.2005. Within a period of just 30 days (i.e., 28.6.2005) it crossed a hit of 1500 and is still growing. Interestingly a lot of visitors are our repeated visitors. The new second edition of Orissaa.com was launched on midnight of 28.6.2005. The third and more improved version was launched on End September. In the meantime Orissaa.com has tied up with Net4Domain.com for registering domain names, talks are going on with Shaadi.com for hosting their online matrimonial service.
And this is all possible for you our visitors. Keep encouraging us like this and we will keep on providing you with more and more information on Orissa.
