Description
The company Optonor AS is located in Trondheim, Norway. Optonor AS, started 1997, cooperates closely with the Group of Applied Optics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and with SINTEF, the largest research company in Scandinavia. All together, the Trondheim group has nearly 40 years of experience in the field of laser based interferometry techniques, and has earlier delivered close to 100 holography systems and other interferometric systems for R&D and industrial applications in Europe, USA and Asia.
Optonor AS developes and manufactures optical and interferometric systems for vibration measurements, static deflection measurements, MEMS analysis, nondestructive testing NDT, stress and strain analysis and surface profiling. Optonor AS also participates in research projects for industry together with the university, and staff at Optonor AS supervise students and PhD students at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
