Optical Support was established by Chris Edwards in 1996, initially to provide a first class lens repair service to the broadcast and film industries and later diversifying, with the help of the UK's two most prominent Steadicam operators, Peter Cavaciuti and Peter Robertson, to create the first hire facility specialising solely in Steadicam equipment and accessories.
