Description
This project was created to make a visual representation of a space that is very much one-dimensional, a metaphysical universe. The data represented and collected here serves a multitude of purposes: Modeling the Internet, analyzing wasted IP space, IP space distribution, detecting the result of natural disasters, weather, war, and esthetics/art. This project is free and represents a lot of donated time, please enjoy.
Prolexic Technologies has used Opte to image the images of a distributed denial of service attack (DDoS). We will be posting more of these images here shortly.
With the new route code I ran into some limits with the current database deisgn. I'm in the middle of re-writing the client/server code to make the new images look more detailed than anything seen before. Some samples were posted over this last week at 10% and 30% just to give an idea of what the new stuff will look like. More to come!
