OPEN STRINGS 2009 is a cello masterclass which aims to stimulate and inspire the progress of young striving professionals and academy students. The masterclass takes place at the Institute of Music at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. Aarhus is one of Scandinavia’s oldest cities and the second biggest city in Denmark. The city’s heart consists of a cozy centre with many cafés as well as green areas and the sea is never far away.
