The story starts c 1915 with Barnes Bros, our family owned florist shop in Harrow UK, pictured here with Grandpa Sejournee. The next two generations worked in the shop and London's wholesale flower market at Covent Garden. 1988 saw a move to Australia where we began growing hot house carnations for the wholesale flower markets.

In 1995 we launched a simple website showcasing some of the products we produced, and a few years later with the advent of secure encryption, we provided online ordering for wholesale customers. 1998 some of our florist customers joined us to form the nucleus of our florist team, and we launched www.onlinegrower.com which is now one of the largest online florists in Western Australia. 1999 We launched www.floristaustralia.net.au which uses the services of several relay services and affiliate florists in all states to offer a nationwide florist service.

We are pleased to provide easy-to-use secure Internet ordering via our websites both in Australia and in the UK [see Domain addresses (URLs) on the right] for our nursery-fresh flowers which can be delivered throughout Australia.
