Hi, and thanks for visiting One Hot Mama. What the heck are we? you ask. Why should I listen to you? Why should I buy stuff off your site and give you my credit card number? What do you stand for?
We are Roxanne Beckford and Bob Hoge, married folks with four children. We've found parenting to be challenging, annoying, life-changing, exasperating, and wonderful, and probably a whole lot of other adjectives too.
We believe in Attachment Parenting. There's a lot of books out there defining Attachment Parenting, and even a little controversy over what is and isn't "AP." In our view, attachment parenting means you really want to know your kids, you don't hit 'em, and you try to do what's best for them. That's about it.
