Ms. Bookbinder has 25 years' experience in the health care field, primarily in positions concerned with planning and reimbursement for hospital and physician services. She directs cancer center feasibility studies, reimbursement and planning studies, medical and radiation oncology practice assessments, and assists clients with health care reimbursement issues. Her consulting work focuses on oncology planning within a clinical delivery and payment system framework.
Before founding ORC, Ms. Bookbinder was a Vice President of Salick Health Care, Inc., where she served as Executive Director of both an academic and a community cancer center. In addition to her oncology operations experience, Ms. Bookbinder provided oncology consulting services to hospital clients for Salick Health Care and CDP Associates.
Ms. Bookbinder has also consulted with oncology-focused biotechnology firms and drug companies, enhancing their understanding of health care reimbursement systems and product positioning in the market place. She has worked with Medicare intermediaries and carriers on resolution of oncology reimbursement issues.
